Finland, happiest country in the world
You guys must be very curious about knowing more and more about Finland, famously known as the happiest country in the world. Well, the country is literally the best! It’ll surely make your heart smile and your soul twinkle by its unceasing beauty and undeniably fun seeking activities. If you visit this beauty even once in your life, it feels so amazing that you’d wanna settle at a place like this for the entire lifetime. Finland opens up its wilderness to tourists and locals by law. The rights of civil access allow anybody to walk, cycle or ski almost anywhere in the country. This also means you can forage for berries or mushrooms, and even sleep in a tent pretty much wherever you like. This inviting nature of Finland makes the travellers more attracted and thrilled for visiting this place.
The Finland you encounter will depend on the season of your visit, but whatever the month, there’s something pure in the Finnish air and spirit that’s vital and exciting. With towering forests speckled by picture-perfect lakes, as if an artist had flicked a blue-dipped paint brush at the map, Suomi (the Finns’ word for their country) offers some of Europe’s best hiking, kayaking and canoeing. A fabulous network of national parks has well-marked routes and regularly spaced huts for overnighting, and you can observe bears and elk deep in the forests on nature-watching trips.

Northern lights are one of those fabulous things of finland. Of course, you can see them in many countries, but the Aurora Borealis favours Finland in that you get an exceptional amount of privacy while you do it. Lapland is my favourite spot, and the best latitude for seeing them is the Kilpisjärvi region. Saunas are another attraction in finland. Finland is famous for its sauna rituals and traditions. Don’t be alarmed if your Finnish friend starts gently beating you with a birch twig, it’s their way of improving your circulation. Roll in the snow, throw yourself into an ice-cold lake – I promise you,sauna ritual is much nicer than it sounds! This county, out of all, is magic for real.

Winter has its own charm as snow blankets the pines and lakes freeze over. The best way to banish the frosty subzero temperatures is to get active. Skiing is great through May. Other pursuits include chartering a team of dogs, a posse of reindeer, or a snowmobile for a trek across snowy solitudes, lit by a beautiful, pale winter sun; catching the aurora borealis (Northern Lights) after your wood-fired sauna; drilling a hole for ice fishing; and spending a night in a glittering, iridescent ice hotel. Most of these tourists come to the country with the thought in mind that it is the happiest country in the world. Aside from its fascinating culture, nice people, breathtaking landscapes, and delicious food, the Aurora Borealis is one of the main reasons why people fly all the way to Northern Europe. Due to this, resorts in the country have come up with creative and luxurious ways to bank on this desire.
Finland isn’t just vast expanses of pristine wilderness. Vibrant cities stock the country’s southern areas, headlined by the capital, Helsinki, an electrifying urban space with world-renowned design and music scenes. Embraced by the Baltic, it’s a spectacular ensemble of modern and stately architecture, island restaurants and stylish and quirky bars. Finland is a stunning city with fascinating culture, warm people, beautiful architecture, and impressive attractions. It is also a country that has been hailed as “The Happiest Country in the World” for three consecutive years now. You can even meet Santa Claus at the Santa Claus Village all year round. Surely, there are lots to love about Finland. My advice to each and everyone who reads this would be to witness this tremendous country at least once in the lifetime and make your soul gleeful.
