Luxurious Trip to Prague

With a flight of a little over 90 minutes, Prague is one of those perfect places for the perfect vacation. It has been described by UNESCO that one of the most beautiful cities in Europe is Prague. It is ranked as one of the most popular and well-loved European tourist destinations and I hope there is no question why.

We all are well aware of the fact that the capital has played a significant cultural, economic and political role in Europe’s history despite having endured ravages of war and conflict including both the World Wars.

The city boasts of a skyline dotted with over one hundred spires, exotic and charming hotels, big buildings with rich history, and many other amazing attractions. For me, Prague has long been a first choice to visit abroad. It is considered to be the best choice among travelers and people who appreciate the finer things of life and the number of lovers who go on romantic vacations to Prague is on a steady increase.

So, here I will take you through my own experience of a luxury trip to Prague:

  • Stay in the beautiful Mandarin Oriental Prague

This hotel is situated in a quiet street called Mala Strana. I got to experience the rich history of Prague here. The views from the hotel rooms are so breathtaking that you won’t regret spending time and money over here. The hotel also has a spa that is staffed by professional and well-trained masseuse who create a customized therapy plan for each individual during their sessions.

  • Have an exotic dinner at the Spices restaurant

This place is located inside the Hotel Mandarin Oriental. It is mainly known for its creatively prepared meals and you’ll surely love them all as I did. Some of the highly skilled chefs prepare the meals and you will be amazed to have the mouth-watering delights made by them.

  • Have a coffee at the Cafe Louvre

You can have an exotic coffee and cake at the cafe louvre. Many people come here to have enjoyed long conversations with their friends and family. The add-on advantage here is that while taking your meal, you can actually imagine how it felt when the great philosophers and scientists were holding discussions on very important issues here.

  • Visit the beautiful Prague Castle

Prague Castle is one of the most ancient ones. You can spot this castle by the Charles bridge. I actually went for a guided tour as it was really easy to get insights about this beautiful place. I was amazed to see that there is so much to explore in this castle.

  • Feel the spiritual vibe of the famous Jewish Prague Temple

These monuments are the best of their kind throughout all of Europe and you can take a guided tour to know more about this spiritual place.

  • Visit the Strahov Monastery’s marvelous library

Strahov Monastery is located behind Prague Castle. You can visit this after visiting the Prague castle. I really enjoyed the serene environment over here. You can even meditate over here if you wish to. The library over here holds around 16000 books, 110,000 volumes, and manuscripts. It is a must-visit for all book lovers.

  • Have a cocktail at Hemingway Bar

If you are someone who is fond of drinks, then you must head on to the Hemingway Bar. It was inspired by the famous writer, Ernest Hemingway. I found some of his favorite tipple being served in the bar as well as some modern twists to classic cocktails.

  • A night at the opera

You will find great concerts by some of the amazing composers and musicians in Prague. Some of the main Praguehouses are Prague National Theatre, Estates Theatre, and the state opera in Karlin.

So, that’s it for my experiences from my luxurious Prague trip. I hope I have helped you in gaining some insights from this. Don’t wait just start planning your trip ASAP!
