Places to Visit in Germany

Germany is located in the heart of Europe and it is known for maintaining the continent’s most powerful economy. Along with this Germany is also a very beautiful and varied country with an impressive culture and way many travel opportunities.

With its small towns, historic cities, magnificent mountains, enchanting forests, and exotic food options, visitors are spoilt for choice when it comes to picking places in Germany for travel. It is not on every traveler’s list but once you will visit this country you will become fond of this country because there’s so much to this place than we would have imagined.

So, here I will share my experiences from my trip to Germany. I picked up the places with splendid architecture and unquestionable charm and I was amazed by the beauty of this country.

Brandenburg Gate
Whenever I visit a new country I always prefer to visit some historic places too because these places tell so much about that particular place. And what else? These neoclassical monuments even add as an amazing backdrop for pictures.

Museum Island
No doubt in calling berlin, the best place in Germany. The treasure of this place is the Museumsinsel aka Museum Island. I enjoyed visiting this museum and I hope you will too.

The Berlin Wall
You just can’t miss out on the iconic berlin wall. Your trip is incomplete if you have not visited this place. Some of the walls here are preserved and some are covered with graffiti. This place was a perfect fit for me to get some of my pictures clicked.

Cologne Cathedral
It is one of the largest churches in Europe and it has around 56 pillars which enhances the magnificence of the place even further. I was mesmerized by the interior of this place. It has spectacular gold artworks and a stained-glass window dating back to the 12th century.

The Rhine
The beauty of this place can’t be put into words. You need to see this on your own. This river flows through Switzerland, Germany, and the Netherlands and there are nearly 60 medieval towns and 40 castles on the way.

Miniatur Wunderland

St. Michael’s Church
This church is one of the most famous churches in Hamburg and it also has an amazing viewing platform at the top which offers visitors an amazing view of the city’s landscape. The view was a breathtaking one for me.

The Black Forest
I believe this is one of the most captivating and incredible places to visit in Germany. It is one of the top-rated destinations as the beauty of the densely wooded along with its scenic views is commendable.
