Places to Visit in Indore

Indore being the cultural and industrial capital of Madhya Pradesh is a very beautiful city. I was really charmed by its warm and friendly people, bustling bazaars, and exotic delights. I could easily spot a perfect blend of modern and historical culture over this city. Everything has been such that it creates its own vibrant and distinct identity.

The best part about this city is as it is situated on the Malwa plateau, the city is blessed with pleasant weather all around the year. And this amazing weather permits you to explore this city even more. From grand temples to palaces, from street food delights to hugely populated markets, this city is a combo pack for a vacation.

So, here I will share my own experiences from my visit to this beautiful city. You should definitely pay a visit to these magnificent places.

Lalbagh Palace
I was really amazed by the beauty of this majestic royal residence. It is spread over a sprawling 28 acres and it is one of the best places to visit for sure. I got a glimpse through the rich heritage of this historic city and I could also have a taste of the lavish lifestyle of the historic times rulers.

Rajwada
Rajwada as the name suggests is again a historic attraction of Indore. I took a peek into the splendor of the bygone era while walking through the museum and after that, I also saw a mesmerizing light and sound show in the evening.

Patalpani Waterfall
If you are looking for something serene and pristine then you can have this stunning waterfall on your list. It is one of the top picks amongst Indore picnic spots for its natural beauty and picturesque setting.

Sarafa Market
Whether you are a foodie or not, you just cannot miss out on the mouth-watering delights of this place. It is one of the best street food markets in the country. From Bhutte ki kees to Garadu chaat, From Dahi bade(at the famous Joshi Dahi Bada House) to the famous 6-flavored panipuri, this place has a lot for every taste bud. I’m sure you must have started getting cravings!

Janapav
Janapav Kuti is a mountain at a height of 881 meters. It is a perfect fit for all the nature lovers out there. The view from the top of this place is really breathtaking.

Ralamandal Wildlife Sanctuary
This place was a treat for me as I’m a wildlife and nature lover. If you are too, then you must visit this place in order to connect with mother nature. I witnessed deer, tigers, wild hare, and an extensive variety of birds along with other beautiful wildlife here.

Tincha Falls
This place gives you a perfect getaway from the bustling city life of Indore. It is known to be one of the best tourist attractions in the city. I still have that breathtaking view in my mind.

Dharampuri
I believe Dharmapuri is one of the most beautiful places in the city. I drove through this place and I completely lost myself in the greenery. I could actually feel the tranquility of this place and I would highly recommend visiting this place.
