Things to do in Paris

I believe that nowhere else on earth makes the heart swoon like the mention of a beautiful city like Paris. From poets to writers, from playwrights to journalists, and more have all written about their love of this city….and it’s hard not to fall in love with Paris. Like millions before me, I fell in love with this city the moment I got to witness the beauty of this city.

I am sure about Paris being one of those few cities in the world that truly lives up to its hype. A trip to Paris can be overwhelming for many people as the city is gigantic, with thousands of years of history. Hence it would take years and years to visit all of Paris.

You will be astonished to see this luring city with its magnificent art, architecture, culture, and cuisine, but there’s also quieter magic waiting to be explored: from the quaint cobbled lanes to the sweet patisseries around the corner, from the cozy little bistros that beckon with a glass of Beaujolais to the exotic cuisines. So, get ready to make Paris your own. Here, I’ll be sharing my own experience during my trip to Paris.

Visit the Pantheon
It is located in the Latin Quarter. The scale of the building is really impressive — after all, the peristyle was inspired by the Pantheon in Rome.
Cost: 9 EUR

Le Marais
If you are someone who loves to shop then do visit this place as there are numerous shops here and a lot of places to eat and drink. I also found some great galleries over here.

Musee du Louvre
It is an iconic museum that was created about 226 years ago. I was surprised to see the beauty of this place. I saw some of the most amazing things here and I want you too to witness the same.

Eiffel Tower
Who doesn’t know about the famous Eiffel Tower? Anyone coming to Paris has on Eiffel tower on his mind to visit first. The tower is magnificent in itself, the singular most memorable and beautiful landmark associated with Paris. You can click some of the best snapshots here.

Arc de Triomphe
It is inspired by the great arches of antiquity, as the monument combines the commemorative with the symbolic and it has always played a major role in the national republican consciousness. Every evening, the flame is beautifully lit on the tomb of the Unknown Soldier from the Great War.

Walk the Champs Elysees
This is one of the prestigious avenues in Paris with huge cinemas, exotic cafes, luxury specialty shops. It is always busy and expensive too, but it’s a great place to club hop at night or takes amazing photos during the day. But I visited this early morning to see the place utterly deserted.

Jardin Du Luxembourg
It’s one of the largest public parks in Paris. With over a hundred statues, monuments, and fountains, all scattered throughout the grounds this garden is absolutely beautiful.

Visit Notre Dame
Just Climb from the north tower to the south to appreciate the amazing masonry, and get a close-up view of the Gallery of Chimeras, the fantastic birds, and beasts gazing over the balustrade are commendable.

So, I hope I have given you some insights about the trip to Paris. I hope you are ready to explore this beautiful city on your own now.
