Trip to Bhubaneshwar

Bhubaneshwar is known for its richness in cultural heritage, natural beauty, and ravishing history. No matter how many revolutions came in or how much industrialization has happened in this city over the years, but this alluring city has been able to maintain its ancient richness.

• Udayagiri And Khandagiri Caves

These caves are a  wondrous attraction in the Khandagiri area of Bhubaneswar. Some of the caves here are man-made and some are natural but all of them are ancient. I spent around 2-3 hours here to explore this place properly and trust me it was all worth it.

• Odisha State Museum

I’m fond of visiting museums as museums tell a lot about the culture and history of a particular place.  You should also visit this place in order to learn about the culture, art, language, architecture, religions that have evolved in this intriguing state of Odisha.

• Ekamra Kanan Botanical Gardens

Here, you can spot the presence of a number of exotic birds throughout the park. If you are a bird lover, then try coming to this place early in the morning and you will be captivated by the enchanting chirping of the birds here. 

• Dhauli Shanti Stupa

This is an elegant and awe-inspiring Buddhist monument. This place is surrounded by serene surroundings. It is made up of white marble and it is really very stunning. 

• Deras Dam

You can have a small picnic here. This place has a picturesque landscape which will let you get some of the best clicks over here. The whole place is surrounded by greenery all around. I enjoyed this place the most. 

• Biju Patnaik Park

This park also has an open gym area and children can also play here. I would call this to be a wonderful place to stroll in the middle of nature. The park is quite serene and a perfect fit for a refreshing and relaxing time away from the city.

• Regional Science centre

This place is a perfect fit for all the children out there. It has many gadgets and machines showing how different things work. You can even watch some 3D movies here. I believe that this is a perfect spot for families along with their children.

• Ram Mandir

This temple is dedicated to Lord Ram, Goddess Sita, and Lord Lakshaman. You should definitely pay a visit to this place after exploring everything else. Seek the blessings of Lord Rama and end your trip with the essence of spirituality.
